
Dean T. Cho is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in complex civil and commercial litigation. He specializes in representing both plaintiffs and defendants across a broad spectrum of legal areas, including appeals, commercial disputes, employment matters, product liability, intellectual property, environmental law, real estate, and insurance coverage litigation in both federal and state courts.
Before joining DeHeng Law Offices as Special Counsel, Mr. Cho was a senior litigation attorney at Proskauer Rose LLP’s New York office, where he focused on complex commercial litigation. His practice encompassed a wide range of high-stakes legal matters, providing him with a deep understanding of multifaceted legal issues.
Mr. Cho is admitted to practice law in New York and before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Seventh Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. His extensive appellate experience has been instrumental in shaping favorable outcomes for his clients.
He earned his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 1988, where he served as a staff editor for the Annual Survey of American Law. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Following law school, Mr. Cho clerked for Chief Judge W. Earl Britt of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, gaining invaluable insights into the judicial process.
