Mr. Paul is a counsel at DeHeng Law Offices and holds a New York State bar license. He has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree (with highest honors) from Harvard University.

With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Paul has represented more than 65 publicly listed U.S. companies. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law, specializing in providing services to growth companies. Mr. Paul previously worked at Otterbourg Law Firm and Morrison Cohen LLP. He represents private and public companies in equity and debt securities public offerings and other financing transactions in the securities market. He also provides ongoing advice to clients on securities law compliance and governance matters. His clients engage in a wide range of business activities, many of which are startup companies. The companies he represents operate in diverse industries, including energy, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, computer software, internet applications, medical devices, advanced materials, and manufacturing.

Mr. Paul previously served as a partner at Michelman & Robinson, LLP, where he helped establish the firm's East Coast operations and promoted its expansion in corporate and securities law. Prior to that, he was also a partner at Eilenberg Krause & Paul, LLP, where he contributed to the development of the firm’s Asia business team and represented various publicly listed and private companies.
