
Wesley J. Paul is a seasoned attorney with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School and graduated with highest honors from Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree. Mr. Paul is licensed to practice law in New York State.
Throughout his career, Mr. Paul has represented more than 65 publicly listed U.S. companies, providing extensive legal services in equity and debt securities public offerings and other financing transactions. He specializes in advising growth companies across various industries, including energy, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, computer software, internet applications, medical devices, advanced materials, and manufacturing.
Before joining DeHeng Law Offices, Mr. Paul was a partner at Michelman & Robinson, LLP, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the firm's East Coast operations and expanding its corporate and securities law practice. Prior to that, he was a partner at Eilenberg Krause & Paul, LLP, contributing significantly to the development of the firm's Asia business team and representing various publicly listed and private companies.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Paul practiced at Otterbourg Law Firm and Morrison Cohen LLP, where he honed his expertise in corporate finance and securities law. His extensive experience includes representing private and public companies in public offerings, private placements, and other financing transactions in the securities market. He also provides ongoing advice to clients on securities law compliance and corporate governance matters.
Mr. Paul is fluent in Chinese, enabling him to effectively serve clients in cross-border transactions involving Chinese-speaking markets.
